Mr. Steven Lim is an Event Management Specialist for more than 25 years.

 

He has successfully managed a complete range of corporate events in Malaysia from building openings to groundbreaking ceremonies, concerts, corporate events, conferences product launches and more.

 

Steven expertly planned and seamlessly executed events like Wushu International Championship involving 1,250 martial artists from 52 countries, FIABCI World Conference with 1,550 participants, Asia Pacific Soroptimist Conference, with 1,100 international and local delegates, Pacific Asia Travel Association of 2,500 tourism players hosted by the Ministry of Culture & Tourism; and many more. He was also IATA/UFTAA International Travel Consultant, Switzerland.

 

He is also Co-handling governmental events such as the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) Summit and Organization of Islamic Cooperation involving heavy security protocol.

 

Steven has a successful track record of creating venues and planning agendas. Proven ability to balance priorities, meet tight deadlines, and produce superior quality. Known for thriving in dynamic, high-pressure environments.

 

He has much experience in Chartered flights for Corporate Incentive Tours overseas for Kurnia Insurance to Beijing, China and Gold Coast, Australia; Great Eastern Life Insurance, Prudential Insurance, AIA, Hong Leong Insurance Incentive Events throughout the world.

 

Steven is a Certified UNESCO Cultural Heritage Specialist Guide Trainer for UNESCO World heritage Sites & National Heritage Sites in Malaysia, UNESCO & Ministry of Culture & Tourism in Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah & Sarawak. He is also trainer for Continuing Tourism Related Education (CTRE) & ‘We Are The Host’ programs, Ministry of Culture & Tourism. He is a trainer for personnel in the Tourism and Travel Industry as well as Tourism Malaysia and Ministry of Tourism personnel.

 

Steven’s qualifications include MBA in Tourism - Australia, IATA/UFTAA International Travel Consultant - Geneva, Switzerland, Veterinary Science, UPM - Malaysia.
