Gerard M. Pillai, is an award winning Technology and Strategy Expert that has helped numerous businesses in Malaysia and Internationally, to map out effective strategies to Sustain and Grow their Organizations and Business Divisions. Malaysian Technology Excellence Award and Star Outstanding Business Awards (SOBA) are some of his recent awards. He has also been nominated for the SME100 award and other regional awards.

 

With an MBA (International Management) from RMIT, Australia and BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance, LJMU, United Kingdom, he has nearly 28 years experience in Multinational Consultancy, Finance, Technology & Innovation and Strategic Planning with 20 years in Entrepreneurship and Digital Transformation and Strategy.

 

A member of PIKOM, the National ICT Association and the Institute of Marketing Malaysia, Gerard is also a Certified Train The Trainer with HRD Corp. He is also the Deputy International Chief Judge for the APICTA Awards.

 

His clients include Start Ups to SMEs to Public Listed companies and he has been appointed as Strategic & Digital Coach to high profile businesses and individuals to help them reach their goals and true potential. He has also been an adviser on various Government Funding and Technology Committees and has been a 2 term Council member of PIKOM and Head of its Special Interest Groups as well as the Co-chair of the Satellite showcase during the World Congress On IT (WCIT). Gerard is also a member of Institute of Marketing Malaysia.

OBJECTIVES

Nobody saw it coming. It has been reported that at least 30,000 businesses had to shut down during the Covid-19 Pandemic in Malaysia. Unemployed graduates number over 800,000. Cash flow is tight and many industries are not sure when they will pick up or rebuild their businesses.

 

This is a one (1) day dynamic interactive course that enables participants to learn how to apply Strategic Thinking and Planning principles and methods to Energize, Empower and Extend their Business Sustainability and Growth, especially during a Crisis situation such as the Covid-19 Pandemic.
