OBJECTIVE

Procurement is one of the most important functions that could contribute to cost efficiencies of an organization, it needs to have in place processes and procedures that could deter fraudulent activities that may fester within existing standard operating procedures.

Transformational changes in the Procurement are happening rapidly with the proliferation of technology. Changes such as widespread use of ERP systems company wide, interfirm usage of EDI systems with the adoption of cloud data analytics solutions enable companies to perform procurement analytics that are meaningful. Analytics can provide procurement to describe, predict or improve business performance.

While technology tools help in the transformation process, these tools should also be secure with deterrent measures to stop unscrupulous activities. Hence, this course will address all issues involved in migrating from the manual to a technology inclined environment.
