COURSE RATIONALE |
|
Manufacturing organisations today are under increasing pressure to improve productivity, reduce delays, control costs, respond faster to customers, and make better decisions across departments.
However, many employees still spend significant time on repetitive administrative tasks such as preparing emails, reports, meeting minutes, SOPs, checklists, KPI updates, data summaries, customer replies, supplier follow-ups, and presentation materials.
This course is designed to help manufacturing employees apply practical AI tools as a daily work assistant to simplify routine tasks, improve communication quality, support problem-solving, and enhance decision-making. The focus is not on technical AI theory, but on practical workplace application that participants can use immediately.
The course covers real manufacturing scenarios across Procurement, Production, Quality Assurance, Sales, Human Resources, Finance, Shipping, Maintenance, Planning, and other support functions. It also addresses high-priority workflows such as finance and budgeting reports, monthly KPI finalisation, sourcing and procurement decision support, business pipeline identification, and product opportunity evaluation.
Participants will be introduced to free AI tools that require no subscription and no IT background. They will also learn how to create short videos for marketing, work instructions, safety communication, and internal training purposes — a practical skill increasingly relevant in modern manufacturing workplaces.
Through hands-on exercises, participants will gain the confidence to use AI to save time, reduce repetitive work, improve work quality, and contribute to a more efficient, responsive, and future-ready manufacturing organisation |
